Montreal-based Grimes (Claire Boucher) is a bedroom-pop deconstructionist. At this point in my life, I am intrigued by this aesthetic. Her new album is Visions on held-in-high-regards 4AD and it's a good record to dance to.

The overt Mariah Carey fetishism on "Be a Body" had me keeling over in glee upon my first listen. Good pop!
