Domestic Ordeals: Eating at Home With Loved Ones

Homemade guacamole (avocado and lime) and salsa (tomatoes, limes, garlic and chili peppers) to spread over homemade tortillas filled with rice, refried beans, and cheese.

A weeks worth of homemade dinners in our house:

Cous-cous and lentil salad over greens
More than 60% of the caloric intake of the Vietnamese diet consists of rice.  We also wholeheartedly embrace this fine grain.

As usual your food photos look fantastıc. I had dinner last night at Gani Gani and heard you had been there too. Today the ferry to Kadiköy Your stomping grounds and a late lunch at Ciya....wish you were here.

Sure wish we could have been there, too! I would love some lentil soup and bread from Ciya... mmmm
