Koh Lanta: The Eastern Side of The Island

Lanta's Old Town: Once a bustling seaport, the construction of the road from Krabi to Trang (and onwards into Malaysia) in the 20th century snuffed out the shipping commerce.  Tourism has semi-revived this sleepy, teak-wood village and it is a cool spot to eat a meal and gaze into the cosmos.
